Capability Statement.

Engineered Fire & Safety Solutions Pty. Ltd. (EFSS) have many years of experience in the design of fire protection systems. Such systems as fire sprinklers, water deluge, foam fire fighting systems, fire detection, occupant warning, exit and emergency lighting, and smoke control conceptual operation.

Our Principal and engineers are experienced in the design, specification, installation supervision and commissioning of large industrial fire fighting installations such as high hazard sprinkler systems, water/foam monitor systems, water spray and foam deluge systems, water supplies, pumping system and reticulation mains, tanks and storage facilities.

Installations dealt with by EFSS include large hydrocarbon fire fighting systems for hazardous chemical industry premises, high pressure water spray protection for electrical transformers in large capacity (2650 MW) power generating stations, wharf protection and shipboard foam/water monitor systems and hazardous chemical protection for large capacity shipping berths, recycling preaction water spray systems for underground rail and road tunnels.

Whilst we do not undertake detailed design of gaseous and high-pressure water mist suppression systems, we are fully aware of the installations and commissioning requirements for such systems and their operational interface with other fire protection systems.

EFSS have been responsible for a number of innovative interfacing and interaction concepts and designs to allow the effectiveness of fire systems to offer a more effective response capability using standard fire protection systems. (e.g. Interfacing Addressable fire detection with Pager or DECT phone to provide immediate response to fire incidents).
